We won the Mothers day look-alike contest at school. Mommy and I dressed alike, similar jewelry and hairstyle and walked the ramp together. All my teacher and friends as well as some parents said we really looked alike and applauded us loudly.
Today, Ada and I with Pappayya help bought Mommy a fabulous gift, an iMac and Mommy hasn’t been seen out of her work station since.
For about two weeks now I have been practicing hard both in school and at home. My class is putting up a dance for the Annual day. A boy called Vedang is my partner and at home I make Mommy, Ajpa, Ajma, Pappayya or even Ada, my partner. They are enjoying my performance. We even had an Aunty measure us up for the costumes in school. Cant wait to perform on stage with my whole family watching me.
I was insisting on going for a picnic for a very long time. Finally, this Friday we set off to the botanic gardens. As soon as we reached there, I helped Mommy spread out our mat. Ada quickly jumped on it and made herself comfortable. I played ball with Pappayya, climbed a tree, ate sandwiches, played in the sand and shepherded Ada back every time she drifted off to join the other picnic makers. It was a nice and breezy day all of us including Ajpa and Ajma had a good time.
Ada likes me to pick her up. She puts her hands up and I carry her. I like to pick her up too.
Yesterday we went for a secret mission with Ajma and Mommy. When Pappayya arrived I found it hard to keep the secret a secret. But somehow I managed. Today, I did not need to hold the secret any longer, as soon as I woke up, I rushed to Pappayya and Ajpa, wished them a happy birthday and gave them the ’secret’ presents.
